MADELINE E. SWANN SERVICES
Mrs. Swann was a retired cook for the former R&F Coal Co., Cadiz. She was a member of East Warren Street Church of Christ and a member of the Cadiz Business and Professional Women’s Club.
She leaves her husband, Earl Swann, whom she married May 25, 1946; two sons, Robert “Bob” Swann of Cadiz and David Swann of New Athens; a daughter, Donna Turley, Uniontown; a brother, Ed Yoho of Cadiz; two sisters, Bea Walters of Cadiz and Edna Mae Donley of LaMacia, Calif.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
LINDA MAE NICHOLS
1954-2001
CALDWELL — Linda Mae Nichols, 46, of Dexter City, died Sunday (April 1, 2001) at her home, following an extended illness.
She was born May 26, 1954, in Yerka, Calif., daughter of Marilyn Jean (Eichhorn) Archer of Caldwell, and the late James Reed Archer I.
Mrs. Nichols was a 1972 graduate of Skyview High School. She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.
She was a member of Belle Valley American Legion Auxiliary 641 and the 700 Club.
She leaves her husband, Lance A. Nichols, whom she married Aug. 24, 1991; a daughter, Amy L. Hupp of Canal Fulton; four sons, Aaron E. Hupp, Alex I. Nichols and Tyler W. Nichols, all of Dexter City, and Stephen J. Thomas of Belle Valley; two sisters, Jane Stanbery of Caldwell, and Mrs. John (Jody) Wilkos of Summerfield; a brother, James R. (Melinda) Archer II of Caldwell; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. David Denny officiating.
Burial will be in Barlow Cemetery.

CALDWELL — Bernard W. Oliver, 79, of Caldwell, died Sunday (April 1, 2001) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge.
Arrangements are pending at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell.

BARNESVILLE — Edith Maxine Moffett, 76, of Barnesville, died Sunday (April 1, 2001) at Wheeling Park Hospital, Wheeling, W.Va.

PATSY L. WEBER
1934-2001
Patsy L. Weber, 66, of Cambridge, died Sunday (April 1, 2001) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 11, 1934, in Cambridge, daughter of the late Garland and Myrtle (Enochs) Schafer.
Mrs. Weber was a former employee of RCA and Westinghouse. She was a member of Cambridge Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Donetta) Clark of Dexter City; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Bennett of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Aaron and Austin Clark; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor David Denny officiating.
Burial will be in Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
